Declension of Russian nouns

Overview of the article published on the SLO website:

In Russian, almost all nouns decline according to certain patterns that form large groups called declensions. There a 3 declension types in Russian. Some nouns, mainly borrowed from other languages are indeclinable. The article provides rules to determine a declension type for nouns.

The article also presents general patterns of Russian nouns declension for all cases. However, each case has its own peculiarities of word formation which are not demonstrated in this article. In future, we plan to add articles about nouns declension in each case with the most important features of the case and exceptions.
